iM: Speedtech Racing Development

Here is the main source for the parts we rely on to create what you see; our parts and produce, source of information and good friends.

From custom projects to the best products you want for your car, STRD is the place to go. Most of us wouldn’t have the cars we do without them. Here’s a shout out to Will, Jackie, Paul and the rest of the STRD crew!

Introduction

iM: Arif Jina’s EK 2.0 (AKA Hollie)

Hello one and all. Arif Jina and Hollie reporting for blog duty. I am sorry it took me longer than the rest of my crew members to get the first post from my fingertips up on this blog. I have a ton of excuses to do so, first off I have no idea how to work one of these things haha…But after goofing around with it a little it seems pretty strait forward. Secondly, I figured that if they all got their posts done, I would have something to sort of model off of, and copy…and lastly…If I was the last one to post up, my entry would be at the top.

I have been in the car scene for a long ass time (can you say ass on a blog??) what being the oldest of the ill.motion crew. Having built many a project car and having watched many a dollar get sucked away by the next mod, or that must have part. I remember reading SCC magazine like it was the bible haha…memorizing specs of parts, calculating the % of hp you would gain from that intake, or B-Pipe…man, those were the days.

Hollie (my 1996 Civic CX Hatch) started out as a lowly silver Automatic…and she has come a long way. Thanks to many friends, and all the shops that have helped with my affliction, my addiction in making an automotive statement. As I truly believe that your car when modded becomes an extension of you and your personality. She currently sits in my garage awaiting the spring season here…but sits so beautifully.

As she sits now she sits with the following…

F20B Swap
AEM H22 Intake (no special reason for that just that it fit and was free)
Some JDM Header
Apex’i NI Full Cat-Back
Apex’i Grounding Kit and Voltage Stabilizer

Acura

Turbocharged Mugen RSeX

With the lack of nice weather, I think it’s only appropriate to post up cars where the weather isn’t shitty.
BUT, if the weather keeps up like this.. it just means we’re only getting closer to slapping on all those parts we’ve gathered over the winter and start cruising again. It’s only a matter of time. We’ll get this rolling in no time!

In the meantime, peep this Turbocharged Mugen RSX. Perfection.

Decals

illmotion Decals!

Well, Van has already cut the “prototype” decals for us. There are 12 and 12 only.. which means we’ll rock em until we get everything settled and we’ll have them for sale to the public. So gives us a few weeks to get settled in and figure everything out so that it goes smoothly.

We purchased the domain today, so no need to add “blogspot” after the address. Just “www.illmotion.com

We also have illmotion windshield banners being made that Van over at Mist Creative designed for us, hopefully we’ll have pics soon. A prototype of that banner will be made for Ryan on his EP3.

Here’s a shitty pic of the decals
