Toronto bringing some heat.

Saw these pics online the other day…. bunch of sick ass Ontario Honda’s. On top of that the pics are top notch.

iM Feature: Unlimited Power RAWRSX

I’ve always had a soft spot for DC5s. When they first came out, I remember thinking how much I wanted one of these cars when I was older and as a result, I’m a sucker for a nice and clean DC5. So I was quite thrilled to be able to shoot Steve’s car.

Initially, Steve fitted his 2002 Acrua RSX Type-S with the Type-R kit but being unsatisfied with the results, Steve turned to Mugen (whose name means Unlimited Power) instead. The end result is a car that is even more aggressive without going overboard. The Mugen bumper and hood just give the front end a very mean look.

Due to this car being a daily driver, Steve went with Tein S-Tech springs instead of coilovers for practicality reasons. The springs give the car a nice drop while retaining ride comfort and drivability on the potholed streets of Calgary. Footwork wise, Steve went with a staggered set of Advan RGs.

iM: Justin’s Type-R

Sitting around shooting the shit, hanging with some other Honda heads while they did a clutch install so I snapped a couple quick pics of Justin’s new whip.

You may recall his previous car….. a stupid dumped EG Civic hatch seen here:
Justin’s slammed EG hatch

Anyone that knows Justin knew the new car was going to be dumped immediately. In fact it was ridding low before most people even realized he had the car.

Yes he completely ruined a Type-R haha…. so bring on the hate!

Pictures really do the ride height no justice. Wheels are only 15″ haha…. could easily tuck rim with 16’s. Dope!

Really liked this picture…. too bad I messed up the exposure settings and it went all blue toned. Still turned out alright.

Full set of pictures coming soon. And remember kids, if it aint a type-r then it aint a tight car!

iM: Punit’s car learning to walk again

Met up on Thursday with Brad, Punit and Prashant and we went to work on the Teg. Rolled and pulled the fenders, hooked up his subs and alarm, fixed the next-to-nothing idle and we got it going.
Here are some quick pics of it on the road again! Hallelujah. Looks like it’ll be ready for the show – just by a hair.

Nice shot of the rears

OH snap.. here we go

You gotta give a little to get a little.

That’s all for now.. Until Driven that is. Come visit us June 12th if you’re around and check out the booth and say hi!

iM: Punit’s Suspension Work

Got called over to Jackie’s place this evening for an install party on his front and rear camber arms. Being replaced with buddyclub’s.
Well after a while of standing around, we all decided to get to work. First we had to grind off his rear bolts because they were seized up to the bushing. Next thing, JC, Punit and I finished off the fronts pretty quick. Gangsterrr

No other pics until it’s complete.
It’s coming along quick now! Look out for a photoshoot!

iM: Integra First Drive

So yesterday i had the chance to drive the car for the first time this year. I still need to put the exhaust on, and it seems like it is throwing a Crank Sensor code so ill have to look more into that. Here’s a video from the first drive. Stay tuned, with the Driven car show just around the corner, there will be many update’s with my car.

Enjoy

Integra Start up. You can’t really hear how loud it is until you are sitting in the car.

Cant take it over 3000k just because of the Crank sensor.

iM: Punit’s Mystery Swap Part 1

After months of waiting and tons of research and part hunting, Punit’s swap is finally underway. We began the swap on the morning of Saturday April 24th as we finally had all the parts we needed.

His previous engine, a Type-R(B18C5), was pulled a while back to make way for the new power plant as well as add some funds to his bank account to help with the payments on this new beast.

Anyways here is the beginning of what is going to be an epic year for Punit and his Integra, enjoy the pics and stay tuned for updates on the progress and the unveiling of the mystery machine!

Empty bay, what could possibly be going into this thing?

As you may remember from Punit’s post HERE, we made a trip down to Montana to pick up a whole bunch of parts that were needed for his swap. Unfortunately the drive was so boring that we decided it would be best not to post about it haha.

I see parts! Lets take a closer look…

Something shiny 😀

Staring down the barrel…

Hand made, sounds expensive!

More clean shiny metal, I love new parts.

Old sticker or new sticker?

The face of Punit everytime he opens his hood…

More to come so stay tuned…

Gangster TSX

Just sitting here surfing the net, waiting for the good weather to come out so we can all get our whips out. Snow falling as I type this. I don’t have a lot of stuff to post so I will just post stuff I find on the internet. I just love the stance on this TSX. Such an aggressive fitment. The color of the car and the color of the rims go perfectly.

Turbocharged Mugen RSeX

With the lack of nice weather, I think it’s only appropriate to post up cars where the weather isn’t shitty.
BUT, if the weather keeps up like this.. it just means we’re only getting closer to slapping on all those parts we’ve gathered over the winter and start cruising again. It’s only a matter of time. We’ll get this rolling in no time!

In the meantime, peep this Turbocharged Mugen RSX. Perfection.
