I know its a little late, but here are some pics from last weeks 403 Honda/Beyond meet. I apologize, it wasn’t that busy last week, and I was kinda lazy/tired from work and didn’t take that many pictures, but here are a few anyways. See everyone at the next one!
Here’s some pics from the 403 Honda/Beyond Meet from April 27, 2011. In my last meet blog entry, I re-iterated that we are privileged to be allowed to park at the Chinook Centre parkade and hang out every week, and would like everyone on their best behaviour so we can continue to be welcomed there. Unfortunately, a Beyond member decided to do just the opposite. The result: he was banned from Beyond.ca. We here at illmotion do not take this lightly either. Please behave.

Despite being somewhat still chilly out, last Wednesdays 403 Honda/Beyond.ca Meet was surprisingly busy. There was an awesome turnout, it was great to see lots of cool cars out, and tons people wondering around. I unfortunately was inside eating when (from what I’ve heard) a bunch of cops showed up. Apparently someone reported a big fight going on, but after some clarification that there was no fight that occurred, they left. With that, comes a reminder/public service announcement: We are fortunate enough that Chinook Centre security is cool with us being up there, please don’t ruin it for us by showing off. Please drive slowly through the parkades (especially up and down the ramp), no loud music, no burnouts, no erratic behaviour.

Another nice weather Wednesday equals another 403 Honda/Beyond.ca Chinook meet. Hopefully the weather keeps getting better. If you try to make it out, then we promise try our best to get out there each week to take pics. Who knows, maybe we’ll find cars that are worthy to be featured on the site!
With the season winding down and the threat of snow looming, the weekly Wednesday night 403 Honda/Beyond.ca meets are getting quieter and quieter. Not many people show up this time of year due to it getting dark out earlier, and getting cold out. But a few people still go. Took my camera and tripod with me to possibly get some practice on something that I’ve been dreading doing because of my epic failures on previous attempts: low light photography.
I guess my pics came out ok, was messing with the settings all over the place, and got some results that I was happy with. And some nice cars showed up tonight too, so I was happy.
