iM Highlight: Sean’s EVO X STO Race Car

Now we normally stick to highly modified street cars that in some cases are also very capable track cars here at iM, in this case we have a STO prepped race car that is also street driveable. It’s normally only commuted to and from the track  but with a little convincing we managed to get the car out onto the streets for a few photos! Mandatory track snaps included of course!

iM Event Coverage: Weekly 403 Honda/Beyond.ca Meet – April…

Another week has gone by, and that means another edition of the weekly 403 Honda/Beyond.ca Meet! Its nice to see these meets getting busier and busier as the weeks go by and the weather starts cooperating. Its nice to see cars that come every week, and see how they progress as the season goes by. Its also been great in the fact that the cars are getting more and more diverse.

Here’s a quick taste of some of the cars that were out this week, for lots more shots, check out the set on our Flickr stream: HERE

iM Event Coverage: Weekly 403 Honda/Beyond.ca Meet – April…

You can almost feel it in the air. The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the cars that have been hiding are starting to come out. The season is almost upon us, and for a handful of people, it already has. And that means the 403 Honda/Beyond.ca weekly meets are starting to get into full swing. I’ve been to a few already, and they’ve been starting to get busier and busier. Here are a few snaps I took that somewhat darker night, then it got cold, so I put the camera away:

iM Highlight: Porson’s EVO X

Earlier this year, Porson replaced his Civic Si with a full Mugen RR conversion with an Evo X. After a few months of ownership, lots have already gone into this daily driver. Last week Porson took the first step of going winter mode by installing his roof-rack for his fat cat. We decided to go downtown for a quick shoot before the sun set. Now to the pictures.

Lots more is planned for this car after winter. Both cosmetic and performance. Even though I love his wheels and they look super aggressive with his Evo, he may be getting new wheels because another Evo around town is rolling on the same setup. 🙁 Big ups to Porson for making this photo shoot happen.

iM Feature: Dicken’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

With Summer quickly on the come up, a lot more people are unleashing their project cars out of hibernation with new mods and parts that are dramatically enhancing the appearance and performance of their vehicle, and setting new standards on how a car should be built.

With this generation of Stance and Form pretty much flooding the car scene, there’s gotta be more than just “dumping” your car and getting a set of wide wheels to demand everyone’s attention and respect. In the pursuit of both form and function, enter Dicken’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.

Everything done so far to this Evo X has been well thought out via Dicken’s vision of how an Evo X should look and perform. With CF aero pieces from Seibon & Rexspeed, a Voltex 1700mm Type 5 GT Wing, a stripped interior justified with an Autopower roll bar, minor engine and exhaust modifications to enhance the Evo’s already impressive performance, and a functional suspension set up that keeps this Evo glued to the road, there’s just no denying this Evo X’s potential on the track.

What stands out the most on Dicken’s Evo X is without a doubt his “Luminous Yellow” Rays Gramlight 57D wheels. With such an eye catching choice in wheels and a complete track ready package to back up it’s looks, this is one Evo X that deserves every ounce of attention it receives from any onlookers.
