I wanted to take some time to give a shout out to our homie Alex Su. Now I wouldn’t normally do this but I think Alex deserves a post of his own. Without Terences’ notifying me, I would probably never be aware of Alex and the reason for this post.
Some of you might have attended shop class while you were in Junior High, some of you might currently be in it right now like Alex is and you might remember that clock project we all had to do. We would pick a design, cut it out of wood, paint it and add minute and hour hands to it as a personal clock.
Most people will do shit like make a flower, a sun, moon, or some generic stuff like that. However, what Alex did was purchase a pack of iM crowns from the store, take em to his shop teacher to photocopy and enlarge. From there he has to cut it, paint it and finish it up. Even I wouldn’t have thought of using our logo to make a clock..
When Terence messaged me, he sounded excited because of the fact that someone who doesn’t even drive yet, is crazy about and supports illmotion to the end. We love that we can totally inspire and have some place for guys like Alex to come and share something with us that might otherwise be hard to do elsewhere.
Here’s a shot that he sent in of his unfinished project.

Thank-you for every ones support for the month of October. Because of your continued support through the purchase of our decals we managed to raise just over $300(50% of all sales) which now goes to support a great cause, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation!
Our ‘Cancer Pink’ edition decals were a hot seller and we hope to bring something new and exciting to the scene next October when we do the same thing again!

Finally – we’re a little late to the game. But we’re in it early enough to still help against the fight to Breast Cancer. We here at illmotion are not just about cars, offsets and expensive parts. No. We love the girls that are a part of our lives, our culture as well as the girls that take part in this obsession that we can all share. Because we love them so much (and we know you do too), we want to raise awareness and give a helping hand to those fighting against breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the number one type of cancer that is diagnosed in women which equals approximately 200,000 women and of that 200,000.. 65,000 of them will die from it each year. About 1 in 9 women will have that chance of developing breast cancer which is too big of a chance for us to just not care.
For the month of October as most of you all know, people worldwide are all celebrating breast cancer awareness month. To do so, we have come up with a super super special edition breast cancer pink illmotion decal with the familiar pink ribbon replacing our crown. You don’t have to like pink, or even rock it on your car because the most important thing is that we are raising money to have 50% of ALL decal (yes, not just the pink ones) proceeds go towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation during the month of October. So, whether you purchase one, two or ten, you can be sure that you’re helping your lovely little lady, mom, friend or another special lady out there.

Many of you all already know that October is Breast Cancer awareness month. To help raise awareness, we will be bringing out a limited edition breast cancer edition colorway with a little change to the decal to help support women fighting breast cancer and those that have beaten or lost a mother, sister or a friend to it. Those of you that have been with us from the beginning know how important it is to us to help foundations whenever we get the chance. And the only way we can do that is if you help us do so as well!
Here’s a little preview of the decal to come. We will announce on facebook and on the site when it drops. Get ready to rock that PINK.
Yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure of attending the 2nd annual park & polish that was backed up by MADD Canada (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). This would have really been our first official unofficial meet with whoever wanted to come and participate with us.
These kinds of events are important to us simply because we are able to participate in events for a good cause. We want to be able to showcase our efforts and have it pay off in the end as well.
The morning started with meeting anybody that wanted to participate at Ikea half an hour before registration began. At first, there was 6 of us then 7 then 10 and by that time it looked like that was it. So we made our way down.. As the day went on, familiar faces as well as newcomers came by and parked with us. By the end of the day, we had taken up close to half of one side of the lot which was awesome because it was such a nice day to be out.
Thanks in advance to everyone that came and showed with us as well as anybody that might have stopped by to take a look at what was going on! See you guys next year. I’ll let the pictures do the talking..
