August 5th, 2012 marked the second annual illmotion Sunday School Show & Shine. This year, there was a couple of us out and about shooting video, and with a larger turn out compared to the year before, it did take a little more time to sort through the hours of footage we obtained throughout the course of the day. This past Canada Day the people over at Prostate Cancer Canada Network held their 4th Annual Show & Shine at Grey Eagle Casino. With the sun beading down for a majority of the morning the show grew to a size of about a 100 cars. Ranging from classics to exotics, it was a good mix and a sign that summer was here in full force! August 21st was the biggest day for the city and illmotion. We had the opportunity to set up one of the best car shows Calgary has ever seen thanks to Rhys from Revwerks and all the local shops that sponsored and attended the event. On Sunday, September 11th 2011, the illmotion crew got the whips shined up and ready to show at MADD Canada‘s “Quarry Park & Polish 2011″ auto show event. AMEC, Quarry Park, & Cardel Homes hosted the event to provide more awareness of impaired driving by supporting MADD Canada and the many victims affected by driving under the influence. Last one in my set. With that said, I just want to give one last thanks to everybody who came out and made this a huge success – especially for the scene we have in Calgary. I’ve heard comments about this being the best show Calgary has ever put on, with some super quality rides that many of us have never seen before. I really think shows like this start giving people that little push again to keep doing what makes this scene so awesome. Look forward to next year!!
