iM: FlickR Picks

A little bit of a different approach with flickR picks today… I’ve been looking at wheels lately and I’ve got a bit of an obsession with every wheel now. Browsing through illmotion’s photostream, I happened to stumble upon Andrew’s photostream with a bunch of sick VW’s/Euros on sick ass wheels.

And finally – what we can all consider a love/hate relationship.

iM: jhoang x JLAW wheel swap – Part II

Part II is of my car on Jackie’s TE37’s.. I personally felt that the blue didn’t match bang on, partially because of my red seats – but they were still pretty sick to see.
Concave legendary wheels, custom candy blue, no rub – sick! Anyways.. onto the pictures

iM: jhoang x JLAW wheel swap – Part I

Since last year, Jackie and I have been talking about swapping wheels once we got everything settled and good to go. Finally this evening we swapped his 18×9.5 +22 TE37’s on my car and my 18×9 +26 Meister’s onto his car.

I’ll split this into two parts, first up is Jackie’s car on the Meisters – which I think look fucking gangster. He’s got dish, he’s got fitment and he’s dumped. The white face goes so well with everything.. and well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

iM Feature: Diana’s GE8 x WORK

Some of you that have been here since the beginning might remember Diana’s fit during winter when we test fit the WORK Meister S1’s while they were still gold.
Check it out here if you don’t remember
Diana’s Fit Does WORK

Well, we haven’t really gotten any good pictures of the car since we lowered it and got the wheels painted a custom House of Kolor Violette. The car has such a nice, functional (yeah, I said it) height and it looks sooo much better. The only thing left to do is order the WORK stickers just to add that nice little touch.

Check it out!

iM: When Dreams Become Nightmares…

So, maybe I made the title slightly over dramatic. But allow me to explain. I remember reading some Japanese Tuner Magazine when I was just getting into wanting to mod cars. And I saw this wheel. I had NO idea what it was but i knew that one day I would have to have it.

The wheel…The Volk TE37. I mean what a classic wheel…six spoke design, great for brake cooling, looks amazing on any car, super light, forged, and baller…haha…That, my friends was the dream. Now comes the nightmare. No, I haven’t curbed them, or damaged them…But, I will let the pictures do the talking….

With Driven 2010 fast approaching the ill.motion crew are busy and hard at work to make sure our cars are ready for the show. Now Jason being the hater that he is, shot my car earlier today and well commented on the lack of my wiping down and cleaning my wheels before the shoot. Anyhow, that is what I decided to do this evening and folks…if you have just eaten come back and look at this post later…haha…

Only because my words do not even begin to express the nastiness that has built up on my wheels, from both regular driving, track days, my general laziness AND a broken axle boot that I discovered today…FML…haha…onto the pictures…

After!

New Photographer: Matthew To

So this is my first post for the ill.motion family. My name is Matt and I have a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT. The car has some work done, but is mainly a work in progress still. Cars have always been a huge passion of mine and have been getting more and more into the Calgary tuner scene. I look forward to providing all the readers with more of the sickest cars in Southern Alberta that ill.motion is known for!

iM: Test Fit Wheel’s

So Prashant and I went to get his car out of storage. My wheels have been mounted and ready to go. So since the wheel’s where at his house, I thought we should try throw them onto his civic and see how they sit. Ill let the picture’s explain the kind of trouble im in. The car was sitting on top of the wheel’s and we couldn’t get it all the way down.

Time to get a fender roller and get to work on the Integra.

Enjoy.
