Exotica Mania!

Exotica Mania!

Hey guys, Jeff Chin here signing in from Edmonton. It’s been awhile since I posted on here so I don’t expect anyone to remember me but however if you do, please write a comment! 🙂

My absence on here was due to the lack of photoshoots with import cars since this is what iM focus primarily on. I did a couple shoots of imports but we’ll talk about those next time. Meanwhile I’ve been keeping busy with shooting exotics for my buddy David Lee owner of Avant Garde Motorsports

I am very fortunate I get to shoot cars of this caliber; exotic cars really ignite my passion for cars ever since I was a young boy. They stir your soul. Who had a Lamborghini Countach/Diablo or Ferrari F40 poster in their room when they were young? I know I did. Getting up close and personal with them is truly something very special.

Anyways enough with the chit chat and let’s get on to the goods I’ve got here for iM today:

1st off we got a Rosso Vik (Candy apple) color ‘08 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster. I never liked red Lambo’s until I saw this. Gorgeous.

Back off.

You mess with the bull you get the horns.

Italian Job

Next is a ’07 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. The sound of the V12 is just intoxicating, it has the same engine block found on the Enzo Ferrari.

The Beast is asleep.

Little Italy.

Perfectionist.

Respect your elders.

Tastefully Tasteful Taste.

And finally we have the all mighty American supercar, ’06 Ford GT Heritage Edition. What a beautiful piece of machine. This particular car is rolling on aftermarket Dymag rims, the barrel is carbon fiber. Same rims used on the Koenigsegg CCX. Hard to imagine this is a 40ish year old design (1964), sure there are a few new designs in this modern day GT but the shape looks back to the original. Another 40 years and this car will still look amazing. Timeless design will always look timeless.

Gulf spill.

GT Forty.

Multicultural.

Ferrari VS Ford, the rivalry just reignited. Which would it be?
I’d pick the Ford because it is man and machine. We’re all car guys right? Nothing beats a clutch and shifting your own gears even if it is slower then flappy paddles. There’s so much computer in the Ferrari, it almost seems… dare I say, soulless? Don’t get me wrong the Ferrari is a damn amazing machine. But at the end of the day I think the Ford is more beautiful and wins my heart.

The Beauty & The Beast

And that’s it for this post. Figure I make it a big post for my long absence haha.

Till next time,

– Jeff
