Finally here in Calgary we had a decent weekend as far as the weather goes. So a few of us decided to meet up at the usual Village Ice Cream hangout and grab a cone, mmmmm Guides Mint!
May 24th, 2014 marked the fifth annual Fitted event at the Brampton Fairgrounds in Caledon, Ontario. Featuring live DJs, a Vape Lounge, a break dance competition, and indoor RC drift track and of course the best builds coming out of Canada’s East, Fitted was definitely the ultimate lifestyle event of the year! Blessing us with exclusive coverage from the event is none other than our illmotion East correspondent/Level One’s own Galen Wan aka Gawaphoto! Dubbed as “the original lifestyle event for the enthusiasts BY the enthusiasts”, Fitted 2014 definitely looked like it was THE automotive culture show to be at, […]

Local Edmonton photographer checking in for the first time! **Waves** Wow! What a turnout at the 2014 season opener, over 900 cars were expected, I couldn’t give an exact number but I’m sure it was right around there. It didn’t matter what you brought as long as it put a smile on your face, and I didn’t see one sad person there! Everything from SR20 swapped Truenos to Civics with engines that are worth twice the car along with the first Aventador Roadster in Edmonton. There was lots of anticipation building up to this event from various car clubs near […]

When you acquire a new car and start a new project, there a lot of things people take into consideration before taking that dive into something new. Aftermarket support, performance and initial appearance/styling of the vehicle are just some of the things that people take into account before committing to the next “money pit”. After considering all the factors that are involved in acquiring a new project car, our good friend Aldo decided it was time to depart from Euro tuning and hop on the Honda wagon with this Grand Prix White AP1 Honda S2000. Definitely still a project car […]
Growing up as a kid whether you are a car enthusiast or not, there was always that one car that we would only dream of owning when we grow up. Typically the type of cars we would dream of owning as children would be that of the highest performance and almost always something from the exotic class. For Zeeshan, the car of his dreams was certainly not in the form of a high performance exotic, but in the form of a hatchback made by automaker, Honda Motor Company of Japan. Although not available to the public in North America at […]
This past weekend (February 21-23, 2014) marked the 48th Annual World of Wheels in Calgary, Alberta. The World of Wheels show heralds many vintage classic and domestic vehicles that we all know and love, and also has it’s fair share of imports which we are accustom to seeing at shows such as Driven. One of the main reasons we love attending the World of Wheels however, is the fact that it is one of those shows that you gain more and more of an appreciation for every year that you attend. The reasoning behind this is because you get a […]
When you are new to anything and everything about car modding, you start off with little things like wheels and tires and the addiction goes from there. Over time, you begin to develop a certain style of your own and do things your way. When you’re a “veteran”, if you will, in the car game, one thing will always remain the same. The one thing that every tuner has in common and yearns to achieve is a build that will leave a lasting impression on the car scene for generations to come, a timeless build that never gets old and […]
