Decals

iM: Crew Decals

One of the most exciting things for us at illmotion is seeing people rocking what we all have a passion for. Shortly after releasing the red/white sticker combo, we had some inquiries from the Netherlands asking how to get stickers shipped all the way down to them. Well, without hesitation I went ahead and sent them down and within a few days they had received them.
I asked Laurens to post pics when he got them on with his plate. He’s driving a super clean ITR. His buddy also has a sticker as well, so once he sends his pics my way, I’ll post those up too. iM represent!

BTW, the spoiler is not completely on yet. Laurens just wanted it on there to help complete the look =D

iM: Justin’s slammed EG hatch

In addition to Corey’s car we also shot Justin’s uber-slammed EG hatch. He’s rolling on new wheels this season….. a rare set of 15″, 5 lug Regamaster EVO’s. Sick!

Yo dude, will it fit…. yea man pull up closer. Haha! For the record it did not fit.

This picture was posted online a couple years ago and someone dubbed it “classic” for whatever reason haha.

So we shot a 2010 version…. classic part II.

Peace out!

Civic

iM: Keep Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’

Prashant sent some pics over that he took when we were on our way to Peter’s. The shots turned out TOO sick. All the shots that Prashant has taken of my car has always ended up being dope. Hopefully he’ll post up the rest of the rolling shots of the others soon.
I think we need to get into some videography with his HD mode…

iM: Corey’s 2010 Transformation Almost Complete

Well most of the new parts for 2010 are on. There are a couple more items to go but it was the first nice weekend of the year so I wanted to get some pics.

Thanks to Ryan for the photos. Anyways, enjoy…

Interior is almost done. Still waiting for the rear headrests.

Semi-dumped haha.

New RR style hood.

EP3 & EG part II coming soon…..

GTI

iM: Prashant’s GTI Fitted

Went to Prashant and JC’s house to test fit Prashant’s new wheels that they just picked up from Montana. I guess you could see this as one of the fillers to the teaser post that Punit put up. Got some quick pics of the fitment. Shits deep.

F. I forgot the sizing.. I’ll get back to you guys on that.. hahaha 18×9 +38 in the rear comes to mind though for some reason..

STILL no spokes to be found! DAYUM

Oh, there it is 😀

Chillaxin

And if you remember the GTI we had up near the beginning.. Here are a few shots I got of it. Friggin DUMPED

Almost tucking rim

And to top it off, Aldrich slapped this on Prashant’s rear window without him knowing. hahaha

Mackin Industries

Mackin Industries: Volk TE37SL

Here is some exciting news from Jon over at Mackin – The new Volk TE37 SL (Super Lap) Read on for more information.

The TE37SL is 1 pound lighter than the regular TE37 you are all familiar with and the release date is just around the corner, in June. The only color available for the TE37SL is “Press Graphite” – a super sick color that would pretty much go with any color car.

The applications for the TE37SL is again, for Euro and Japanese applications with a 5×120 and 5×114.3 bolt pattern. Unlike most wheels on the market, the TE37SL does not accommodate a centercap because a lot has been shaved off the wheel to help lose that 1lb.

For further information/inquiries in Alberta, you can deal specifically with Speedtech Racing Development or Tunerworks.

After work I usually make time to browse my favorite automotive forums, blogs, sites, etc. Being that I am very Toyota influenced I do frequent a few Toyota forums like ToyotaNation and ScionLife.

Another forum I love checking out is 9thGenCorolla.com. Now before you judge I have to give “y0aimee” a shout for showcasing some of the freshest photos that can be found on this forum.

Aimee’s 2004 Toyota Corolla S

In the car scene it’s definitely uber rare to come across ladies who are into both cars and photography. Its girls like Aimee who make us boys feel like “damn, we gotta step our game up!”.

The work Aimee’s put into her car and her photography are definitely worth taking a look at!

Check out a few shots taken by Aimee.

DETO: New Jersey Drive

This past weekend we went to the Club Loose season opener and Time Attack at NJ Motorsports Park.

Super-charged Z. The sound it puts out is very unique.

Here are my homies from AK Auto all the way from Queens, NY. They come hard with their fleet of AE86’s.

The Elite JDM tent, always seems to be the central hub of any club Loose event.

The man, the myth, the ledgend: Nick DAlessio standing by his S13 sex machine. I could never really get into 240’s until I saw his so tastefully done.

Check out Nick putting it down in the Jersey Streets video from this past Saturday:

Boosted Bimmer..

How did I know Mike wouldn’t take a normal picture for me?? 🙂

Spock let me take his Murder Miata out for a spin. Well balanced handling cars like this one are so addictive to drive..

On the way back to the NJ Turn Pike me and my brother were entertained by these two dare devils… I think they turned it up a notch when they realized there was a camera on them…

Saturday was central Jersey and Sunday was south Jersey. I mean, south, south Jersey. If you live in the surrounding area and never been to NJ Motor-sports Park in Millville, it’s well worth the visit. This racing facility houses 2 race tracks: the Thunderbolt Raceway and the Lightning Raceway. Not to mention the F1 kart track too… Sunday we were here for the Time Attack and there was plenty of raw power in attendance.

Here’s John and his S2K. He drove 600 miles, all the way from Canada. If that isn’t dedication…

Bill Washburn’s 240 of DENT Sport Garage

Here’s a few shots of the track.

The JTuned booth holding it down. Look out for a full feature on their shop coming soon..

The SMAX S14

Ross Miller’s PTUNING Corvette. Ross placed 1st place in modified RWD.

iM: Mackin Industries x illmotion

This morning, I have been exchanging PM’s with Jon over at Mackin Industries and with Jon being one of the frontline guys at Mackin, we are happy to announce that we will be one of the only (if not the first) in Canada to receive the latest and greatest updates from Mackin Industries ranging from new wheels, colors, products… you name it.
I will be posting up content that I receive from Jon as soon as I get it, so if you’re following illmotion, you’ll know what’s up over at Mackin. Thanks, Jon!

As we all know, Mackin is also the manufacturer of some of the sickest wheels on the market. Here is a video showing how some of their wheels are made.
