Found these on a fellow flickr’s photostream and loved it. I love all rig shots.. and I really wanna get jumpin’ on this rig bandwagon so we can get some slick shots of the local rides. Let the pictures do the talkin’

iM : EP3 interior

Had this shot I never posted up from a couple weeks back…. while the car was still all together.

Anyways, most of the interior is out, still have to pull the rest of the rear interior panels. Taking my time as these damn plastic clips and plugs are frustrating as hell! haha.

Why is the interior all out you might ask….. well I always said once the car didn’t have to be driven every day that I’d throw a cage in it. I kinda chickened out and didn’t want to deal with door bars and no glove box, etc etc so it’s only a half 4 point cage or roll bar but I’m still happy with it.

It’s off getting powder coated right now so the rest of the install should happen in the next week or two.

iM: Random Snaps

A random shot of my car at the warehouse while Punit was doing his swap. I really liked how the angle and everything turned out in this shot.. even though the car is dirty.

For those that are wondering, the wing is not on because I’m getting the carbon trunk re-tapped. Hopefully it’ll be on soon! But with this sucky ass weather, I’m not in a big hurry.

iM: Diana’s Fit Does WORK

So with exams coming up, I’m finding it harder and harder to find time to study and work on cars at the same time. This morning, Dave from Screamin’ Paintworks calls me and tells me that Diana’s WORK’s are finished. We go and pick ’em up and they are friggin sick!

The color is a custom House of Kolor Violette with some tweaking of the shade. It’s friggin dope cause the color changes in the light. Big thanks to Screamin’ Paintworks!

The word gets around and JC starts pressuring me to lower it today too and to study after. After tons of peer pressuring, I cave and I head down to Prashant’s and JC, Punit and I get working on the Fit. In go the T1r springs

Here it is, in all it’s stock 4×4 glory.

Working on taking the damned front cowl off. &$#!

Stock strut/spring

The stock spring and the T1r spring

Pictures just don’t do this color justice.. WOooo

Spring in

JC throwing around gangster signs and shit

Fronts down and lowered! SICK

Working on the rears

All done.

Represent!

Looks friggin sick! The fronts are pretty flush, with no rubbing and the rears could use a spacer, but I think it’s good for now.
In the end, I got no studying done, JC got no bills paid, Prashant just barely made it to work, and Punit got us all slurpees hahaha

Again, big thanks to JC, Punit, and Prashant for helping out on this project. Another one down!

iM: Keep Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’

Prashant sent some pics over that he took when we were on our way to Peter’s. The shots turned out TOO sick. All the shots that Prashant has taken of my car has always ended up being dope. Hopefully he’ll post up the rest of the rolling shots of the others soon.
I think we need to get into some videography with his HD mode…

iM Feature: Matt’s Honda S2000

This feature of Matt’s S2000 is photographed and written up by Jeff Chin.

Its starting to warm up, nice cars are finally coming out, photographers who have been hiding all winter are dusting off their equipment and here I am writing up my 1st feature on ill motion. I myself am excited whats in store for this season. This past weekend me and my buddy Raymond got the chance to photograph a good friend of ours; Matt’s Honda S2000.

“Honda’s were never really my thing” He replied…

It was back in 08 when Matt first laid eyes on the S2000 he now today calls his own. This 2002 Sebring silver S2000 has come along way since its 08 debut in the Edmonton car scene.

“I’ve owned this car for a little over a year now, it’s the best car I’ve owned” He said.
This is out of the eleven cars he’s owned since he got his license. Nissan, Toyota and Mazda’s just can’t satisfy Matt’s hunger for the corners. Sure you may say there are faster cars … But theres more to it than outright speed.

Matt’s hoping to see more of the track this up and coming race season, it be Stratotech time attack events or the Race city circuit.

But enough with the small talk, Lets get straight to the photos.

And finally.. Repping illmotion! Thanks Matt!

iM: Jason’s FG Pt. Deuce

Finally it’s my turn to whore this place up with some of my new ish.
Had some time to take better pictures for you guys because I was too tired last night to take any good ones. I feel that it still doesn’t do the car justice with these photos.. but wait till I have more time and I’ll be out with the crew doing a photoshoot soon. Until now, here are clearer, brighter pictures with some better fitment pics.

Rear fitment

iM: Jason’s FG Completed

Well, the day I’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. I’ve been anxious since September last year to get all this done and it’s finally finished!
Started off by dropping the wheels to Lorne and Bob at Urban Expressions to get mounted at 1PM

Then I mounted them at Diana’s house quickly and adjusted camber and such to get them to fit to at least roll around properly without any problems. The only thing is that the rears pop the rear bumper sides out.. so I just need more camber. I then headed to Speedtech to get the Spoon S-Tai diffuser installed with Paul’s crazy skillz

The diffuser in all its minty glory

Most of the illmotion crew, Mike, Al and Aldrich all came to chill too.

Paul finishing up the install

And finally the finished product. After 6-7 months of spending, waiting and work.. it’s all done. Now all that I’m left with is scraping, rubbing and headache… but it’s fucking worth it! haha

Sorry I have no pics of the fitment and side pics, but I’ll get those tomorrow hopefully! Until then, think of this as something to wet your appetite!

Ryan’s EP3 Vectored Out!

Last year, we went for a photoshoot for Ryan’s Ep3 and I had posted it up on my FlickR. Just today, I had received a message from a talented member on DeviantART (~illustrated90) saying that he vectored the one of the photos I took of Ryan’s car. I click the link and my jaw dropped. This vector is straight up GANGSTER. I needed to post this for everyone to see.

The process of vectoring.

Finished

And of course, the original link to his work

iM: FG Coilover Install

After getting back from a nice weekend in Radium, BC for a nice relaxing soak in the hot springs, I was anxious to get back to finally start working on the car. I spent the whole day last Thursday detailing it top to bottom, giving it a wash, polished and cleaned the paint, sealed it and waxed it to get rid of all the salt and swirls that has accumulated over the winter.

Step two was to install the coilovers today. JC stopped by a little later and helped me finish up the rears. Install went smooth, and now the car is stiff as shit. I won’t be posting the finished height just yet because I’ll be lowering it more once I get my wheels and tires put together hopefully sometime this week. Once the wheels and tires go on, everything else does too.

So for now.. All you really get is how clean the car is =D

Props to JC for helping me out once again!
