It was a nice sunny day on Wednesday June 15 to head up to the weekly 403 Honda/Beyond.ca meets. With the rain finally deciding to let up for a night, it was nice to get out there and check out some rides. There was quite a turnout this past week for the Beyond.ca meet! Unfortunately I didn’t capture too many photos this time around but I hope you can get an idea of what was present. On May 25, 2013 Stretch & Poke held their 4th annual “Fitted Lifestyle Event”, showcasing the creme de la creme of stanced/modified cars coming out of Toronto and surrounding areas. For the past three years, Stretch & Poke hosted their Fitted event in Downsview Park (Toronto, Ontario). May 26th, 2013 was the latest edition of the Calgary Firebird Club’s annual show and shine. Held in the south Hooters’ parking lot, a nice assortment of cars and trucks arrived. While there were many Firebirds and Trans Ams on site, other Pontiac models and even other makes were there too, to take advantage of the nice weather and to help raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation. With Driven 2013 now over a week behind us, we may look at some of the finer details of what was brought out and wrap up our coverage of the event. To “officially” kick start the 2013 season, Driven made it’s way to the Olympic Oval in Calgary. A little earlier than the previous year, this certainly did not stop everybody from getting their cars ready, some even just MINUTES before the end of roll-in and set up. May 4th, 2013 was 780Tuners’ Season Opener in Edmonton Alberta. Cars and bikes of all makes, models, and years were brought to the United Cycle parking lot as a way to celebrate the start of summer and show off what had been done over the winter months. Our good friend Bill of the UCCC made the trip up to participate, see some friends in our neighboring city, and of course check out the other vehicles on display!
