iM Event Coverage: Luxury / Exotic Cruise For a…

This past weekend we attended the 2nd Annual Luxury / Exotic Cruise For a Cause set up by local realtor Jordan Lotoski. About 30 cars came out and raised nearly $2500 for the Kelm family who has 3 children all who are affected by Fragile X Syndrome. After a quick meet in the morning at Distinctive Collection the cruise began, and as you can imagine with this group of cars it turned lots of heads as we cruised out to Banff Springs Hotel for brunch. This was a great event to take part in and thanks to everyone efforts in organizing it, can’t wait for next year.

iM Event Coverage: Prostate Cancer Show & Shine

This past Canada Day the people over at Prostate Cancer Canada Network held their 4th Annual Show & Shine at Grey Eagle Casino. With the sun beading down for a majority of the morning the show grew to a size of about a 100 cars. Ranging from classics to exotics, it was a good mix and a sign that summer was here in full force! Now without further a due here are the pictures:

iM Event Coverage: WaterWerks – On The Green

Waterwerks has always been one of the main shows I choose to book off every year. This year the show went a different route from previous years which was located in a baseball stadium parking lot near Tacoma WA. For 2012 the organizers decided to host two events, one in North Bend WA located on a beautiful 230 acre polo field while the other on the California coast line. Usually this event features cars from all over the PNW and California. The two events this year had separated the crowds to mainly PNW cars at this venue. It was great to see how many local cars from the Vancouver scene showed up while many won awards. It was also nice to see what the rest of the PNW had to offer.

iM Event Coverage: Revwerks Sideways Sunday #1 June 17,…

This past Sunday (June 17th, 2012) a few of us from the crew got a chance to head down and check out the first Revwerks Auto-X event, “Sideways Sunday” which was held at the rear parking lot of Cross Iron Hills Mall. With no track available to drivers in the city of Calgary, the amount of cars that participated in this event was quite impressive and it definitely pointed out the fact that Calgary’s motorsports scene is not going anywhere. Check out a few pics from the event (which also showcased a few whips in the parking lot) and stay tuned for more details on another Sideways Sunday event brought to you by Revwerks in the near future! A big shout out going out to Revwerks and their staff for putting this on for Calgary’s driving enthusiasts. Enjoy the pics!

iM Event Coverage: S&P! Fitted Showcase Season Opener 2012

For the majority of our readers who are in Canada the analogy of “season opener” makes total sense. However, for you fair weather readers let me explain. Up north here in Canada its gets cold, real cold. We get snow and ice covered roads which is combated by throwing salt, gravel and sand on the roads. As you can guess this wreaks havoc on our beloved cars so many people make the choice to only drive their cars half the year and keep them stored away safely for the winter months. This inevitably leads to boredom and more money being spend on parts (damn you winter!). However the biggest advantage to this is once spring finally rolls around everyone is usually super excited to get their cars out on the roads and attending various events to showoff what they’ve been wrenching on all winter.

Now onto this particular season opener event. Our good friends over at Stretch & Poke put on multiple events throughout the year, this one being their season opener Fitted Showcase event. They cater to the fitted scene but as you can see in the pictures below their events bring out a large variety of cars that everyone can enjoy. The quality of cars at this event were top notch! So here comes an overload of pics….

Thanks again to Galen for keeping tabs on the car scene out in Toronto and we look forward to continue showcasing what Toronto has to offer. And be sure to check back tomorrow for even more coverage from Fitted Showcase 2012.
