iM Feature: The Red Bastard Evo VIII

iM Feature: The Red Bastard Evo VIII

Another great submission by 780 photographer, Jeff Chin. Check it outttt

Chevy versus Ford? Unless you drive a NASCAR, that battle hardly seems worth watching. When the Evo 8 1st arrived in North America it was a direct player against Subaru’s 300-horse WRX Sti. Both great cars, but the conclusion is if you must have power the the STi is your car, if you want understated precision yet devastating power when you need it the Evo is your car. At the end of the day I’d say if you like Subaru you wouldn’t go for a Evo even if its a “better” car (Notice I use the term better loosely. Just trying to prove me point haha). Its like telling a Mustang guy to buy a Camaro. Not gonna happen.

Anyways a little back story of this car,
This past weekend I got the chance to photograph my buddy Mark’s 03 Mitsubishi Evo 8. It was imported from Michigan not too long ago. When he bought it, it was completely stock, since then over the winter he has done a fair bit of mods to it.
But due to a lost of job he is forced to put the car up for sale, as he has only driven this for a couple of months. Sad but I guess priorities always comes 1st.
Here are the pics,
