We love when we get submissions from you guys with your cars about your build stories, inspirations, goals and current status of your whips. As is such, Luis Alva from Winter Park, FL sent us some sick pics of his ’98 Mitsubishi Mirage – a nice change from what we normally see.

For the last 3 years, Luis has been working hard on his Mirage and has come quite a long way with it. You’ll notice that he’s gone with the Evo V conversion and is currently on his way to swapping in the 4g63 with AWD in.

His current wheel setup – Not only did Luis go with a totally different platform, but he also decided to rock a totally different color of CCW’s from the brushed or chrome look.

Luis also just sold his complete turbo kit that he put together originally for the factory 1.8L and used that money to buy an Evo IV front clip from Malaysia to convert my FWD to AWD and to put that 4g63 in.

Those of you that are members of mirageforums.net might see him around and his build thread is on there as well. Those of us who aren’t, however have to wait till it’s complete. Hopefully we’ll have some pics of the finished product!
