Few things to note:
-The event will go on rain or shine.
-If you want to park with your buddies/crew/group then please come up with a name and make sure everyone enters it under ‘Company/Group’ when registering.
-Please keep your registration id handy during roll-in to make the process smooth for everyone.
-Payment confirms your registration. Payment can be made by PayPal. If you are unable to pay by PayPal please send us a msg via our contact form.
-We also accept payment for registration via Email Money Transfer. Once you have confirmed your registration please email your $5.00 registration fee to sundayschool@illmotion.com and put your Name and Registration ID in the notes field.
Last year, we introduced our very first Sunday School Show & Shine showcasing the creme de la creme of imports, domestics and exotics that Calgary (and surrounding area) had to offer. This year, in collaboration with our friends at Beyond.Ca and sponsored by many shops in Calgary, we’re proud to present to you the 2nd Annual Sunday School Show & Shine on August 5th, 2012 at the Max Bell Arena parking lot!
Be sure to come down on August 5th, 2012 to kick it with us and check out what some of Calgary’s aftermarket shops have to offer!
For those who would like to enter and participate at this year’s Sunday School Show and Shine, registration will open at Noon on July 8th, 2012 so be sure to get your car registered and be a part of what will definitely be an amazing day! Registration is $5.00, with proceeds going to the Canadian Alzheimer Society.
For a little more information on the Canadian Alzheimer Society, it is the leading nationwide health charity for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia’s. Active in more than 150 communities across Canada, the Alzheimer Society offers help for today through various programs and services for people living with dementia and hope for tomorrow by funding research to find the cause and the cure.
We will also be releasing our latest “Aim High Ride Low” T-Shirt at Sunday School along with some new merchandise including lanyards, decals and carabiners for sale at the illmotion tent, with 50% of the merchandise sales going to the Alzheimer Society.
The 2nd Annual Sunday School Show and Shine will be held from 10am to 4pm. Roll-in will commence from 10am to 11am. The Sunday School Show & Shine will be on from 11am to 3:30pm (Concession will also be open), and we will announce draw prize winners at 3:30pm concluded by roll-out at 4pm.
We can’t wait to see you all at the Max Bell Parking Lot on August 5th, 2012! With admission of course being free and open to the general public, this is one Show & Shine that you definitely will not want to miss!!!

Coming at you again with another sick photo set from the homie Galen Wan (aka GAWA photo) featuring Steve’s Lexus GS350. With luxury vehicles becoming more and more of a popular platform for modding cars, sometimes you just gotta ask yourself what else can you really add to something that’s already so well equipped?
In Steve’s case, keeping it simple is key as an INGS+1 style lip kit, a full matte metallic dary grey vinyl wrapping, a set of BC Racing coilovers to get this car low, and an aggressive set of 20″ ADV.1 ADV08TS wheels were added to set off his GS350.
‘They say’ the set of wheels you choose for your car, can either make or break the appearance of your vehicle. A quick look at Steve’s GS, and it’s definitely safe to say that the ADV.1s he chose definitely made his car stand out from the rest. Have a look for yourself and you’ll see exactly what ‘they say’.
This past Canada Day the people over at Prostate Cancer Canada Network held their 4th Annual Show & Shine at Grey Eagle Casino. With the sun beading down for a majority of the morning the show grew to a size of about a 100 cars. Ranging from classics to exotics, it was a good mix and a sign that summer was here in full force! Now without further a due here are the pictures:
Waterwerks has always been one of the main shows I choose to book off every year. This year the show went a different route from previous years which was located in a baseball stadium parking lot near Tacoma WA. For 2012 the organizers decided to host two events, one in North Bend WA located on a beautiful 230 acre polo field while the other on the California coast line. Usually this event features cars from all over the PNW and California. The two events this year had separated the crowds to mainly PNW cars at this venue. It was great to see how many local cars from the Vancouver scene showed up while many won awards. It was also nice to see what the rest of the PNW had to offer.
Another feature courtesy of our homie Galen Wan (aka GAWA Photo), we have Yau’s R32 GTR coming out of Toronto, Ontario. Yau’s BNR32 takes it a step further from his peers by wrapping the whole car in Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap. What also stands out on Yau’s GT-R are the authentic Nismo N1 pieces such as the front bumper, side skirts and wing lip. Adding to the exterior appeal of this R32 are a set of green Volk TE-37s rocking an amazing 18×10.5 with a +15 offset all around.
On the performance side of things, Yau’s GT-R sports a Jun Tuned RB26DETT, with HKS adjustable cam gears and a tomei header. This is one R32 that goes unnoticed as an HKS 3.5″ full exhaust roars past anyone who tries to get in it’s way. As for balance, this car stays planted with Buddyclub coilovers and a Cusco front & rear camber kit, Cusco strut tower bar, and a Cusco mid pillar bar.
With an overall impressive package inside and out, this is definitely one of the more stunning R32s coming out of the East. Just have a look for yourself.
If you recall last summer we featured a crazy 350z from Toronto (link here). Well Ger is back, this time with his brother and they’re proud to showcase their crazy ‘daily driver’ JDM converted CSX. But make no mistake this is no beater style daily driver which most us would associate with that term. It’s actually a pretty crazy top to bottom JDM inspired build.
Ger and Yau are rocking legit JDM FD2 bumpers, fenders and lights all around the car and as if that wasn’t enough they slapped on a plethora of Mugen parts (most likely shipped overnight from Japan) to stand out even more. To keep up in all the daily traffic the brothers added HONDATA Flash Pro, Skunk2 Cams and Header and an extremely baller 70R J’s Racing titanium exhaust system. Moving to the interior, Bride Low Max seats, Defi gauges and ARC shift knob round out the cabin comforts. The car is rolling on an aggressive set of 18×9.5/8.5 +15/+35 RPF1’s and what daily drive doesn’t need a set of Endless 6pot brakes!

With Driven 2012 now two weeks behind us, we have our final piece of the coverage with a look at the entire show in video form! With a show so immense in size it was an effort on all fronts to get the footage we needed to showcase the best of the best. However due to the great turn out, it was great to be able to shoot such a variety of cars in a relatively small area. We hope you enjoy this video and stay tuned for many more feature videos on some of the cars you saw at Driven 2012!
Most of my friends have always known me as a VW kind of guy, and some of you might remember my old feature with my VR6 swapped Mk2 Jetta Coupe. Hanging around with nothing but Honda guys, it was only a matter of time before they would have me converted. After 4 years of convincing I finally caved in and picked up this 1994 GSR. I picked up the car with the intention of doing a full itr replica, while the car already had the jdm front end with various other itr spec parts, I have accumulated numerous parts to finish it off the exterior before I head into the motor. While I have big plans for the car this winter, I just recently picked up a set of Gramlight T57-RC’s and thought what better way to begin a new chapter in my life as a Honda enthusiast, to share with you what I will be working with. 10 days ago hundreds of people came down to the Olympic Oval in Calgary, Alberta to support us at the Driven 2012 show. Just like in the past, our focus on the community and those in need was in full effect. With the support of all our fans and supporters we were able to raise an astonishing $1000.00 to help the children at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. Safeway Canada also added $100 to our pool to bring our total to $1100.
