iM Highlight: Josh Sivadas’s E46 M3 Cabriolet

The E46 M3.

Without a doubt one of the most popular platforms amongst European tuners. First introduced to the scene in 2000, the E46 M3 was offered in coupe and convertible models, featured the beastly (International Engine of the Year at the time) M-tuned 3.2L S54 engine, SMG transmission, sport suspension, and a highly aggressive exterior.

It’s no wonder that Josh Sivadas looked to the M3, as his latest project car. But what more could Josh do to an already impressive package from BMW? Well, in Josh’s case, “Swag” would be the perfect word to describe his E46 M3 Cabriolet.

Already equipped with sporty suspension from the factory, Josh aimed to get this M3 Cab stanced proper with a set of KW V2 Coilovers. And to make his M3 Cab stand out even more from the crowd, How about an agressively staggered set of black Volk TE-37s for good measure? No messing around here.

To give the M3 a little more flow, Josh added an AFE Intake system and Custom Exhaust set-up with rasp eliminator.

“All black everything” is another phrase that just works when it comes to talking about Josh’s M3. Featuring a Vorsteiner CF Single-Sided GTR Hood, Vorsteiner CF Rear Diffuser and a custom CF front lip, any Chrome that was on this M3 is completely blacked out inside and out, perfectly complimenting the Vorsteiner goodies.

Subtlety and attention to detail can go a long way. Josh definitely had the right frame of mind when it came to building his E46 M3 Cab project. Whether he’s cruising with the top down or hardtop on, you better believe Josh’s M3 has it’s swag on and in full effect.

illmotion Sunday School: Show & Shine Part V

Last one in my set. With that said, I just want to give one last thanks to everybody who came out and made this a huge success – especially for the scene we have in Calgary. I’ve heard comments about this being the best show Calgary has ever put on, with some super quality rides that many of us have never seen before.

I really think shows like this start giving people that little push again to keep doing what makes this scene so awesome. Look forward to next year!!

Donation

iM: Seva Canada Donation

For those who have been following illmotion since the beginning, you probably already know that we’ve always been about giving back to the community.

It wasn’t too long ago, that 7 random friends got together and came up with the idea to breathe life into the Calgary car community that seemed to be dying down more and more as each season passed.

One thing that will never be taken away from illmotion, is the passion that the 7 of us have for this scene. With the rise and success of illmotion thus far, there’s just no stopping what we’re doing to show the world what Calgary’s car scene is capable of, and how strong our community can really be.

This rise and success however, would never be possible without the support we’ve received from all of you. So what we’ve been doing (from the beginning) to show you how appreciative we are of all this love and support, is donate any sales profit we gain from our decals, lanyards and clothing.

Since illmotion started, we’ve donated to many reputable organizations/charities such as the Calgary Children’s Hospital, MADD Canada, Pancreatic Cancer Research, Canadian Breast Cancer Association, The Underwear Affair, Red Cross Canada (Japan Tsunami Relief), Safeway’s Father’s Day Run to battle Cancer, and our latest organization, Seva Canada.

As illmotion’s community grows, so does the money we raise to donate to these great organizations, and with the recent success of our Sunday School: Show & Shine 101 Car Show, we are proud to share with you all, what we as a community, have raised for Seva Canada.

For those who don’t know what Seva Canada is, it is an Eye Care Charity that goes to third world countries and provides those in need with vision treatment. Sight is probably the biggest gift that we take for granted, and there are millions out there who suffer from blindness and low visibility, and just do not receive the proper eye care they should. Seva Canada is an organization that is passionately working in these countries, to provide those in need, with the gift of sight.

A little can go a long way, and because of you guys and the success of Sunday School: Show & Shine 101, we were able to raise $1215.00 to Seva Canada!

All of this was made possible because of you! Awesome job everybody!

Once again thank you all for your continous support. It’s you guys that keep us going. Let’s make Sunday School: Show & Shine 102 next year even more amazing!

illmotion Sunday School: Show & Shine Part II

Let’s keep this ball going

I just want to say thanks to our two hardest workers of the day – Diana and Sheree. Mad props to them for manning the table ALL day with no breaks and with a smile on their faces despite the heat.

And our sick DJ’s – Myles Bigornia and JT Rebalbos playing sick beats all day!

Show N Shine

illmotion Sunday School: Show & Shine Part I

Sunday School has come and gone and I’ve never said this before – but school was awesome.

Thanks to EVERYBODY that came out to show support and stand around in the blazing 30 degree weather toughing it out. This event would have been nothing without all of you. As with Ryan’s post below – our great sponsors brought out a whole different game and gave some sick prizes with tons of winners!

I’ll be breaking the pictures up into a few parts due to the huge amount of cars that attended. With a combination of over 200 cars, 400 people. blazing sun, it’s tough to get every single car. I tried my best. I apologize if I didn’t get your ride!

With that said, let’s start part one!

Show N Shine

iM: Thank you!

We’ll have tons of crazy event coverage up soon but in the meantime we’d like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our show. When we first started planning the event we were figuring we’d get decent support. But none of us imagined we’d get the support or turnout that we did. For this we thank everyone!

Also we’d like to give a shoutout to all the local shops and sponsors that really helped make this event happen! Their sites are linked below, check them out!

iM Sunday School Show & Shine Event Details

We are a little over 5 days away from one of the biggest shows that has ever been put together in Calgary. With cars coming from surrounding cities of all makes and models, many of the biggest automotive shops around sponsoring over $4000 in prizes, and a nice view of the Calgary skyline, this is going to be one show you won’t want to miss! Entertainment from two of Calgary’s sickest DJ’s, new illmotion swag being released, good company, and (what looks to be) wicked weather – this is the best way to end the season.

Spectating and parking is free. Every registrant will receive illmotion goodies as well as a single entry into the draw, additional tickets will be available for purchase and spectators can get in on the prizes too and it all goes to a great cuase, SEVA Canada – a charitable eye care organization.

A few rules for the day that you’ll want to keep in mind:
– Please arrive on time. With over 200 cars coming to show, we want to make this quick and painless for everybody. Roll-in will be from 12:00 – 12:30. This leaves us sufficient time to place and park nicely.
– Arrive with your crew – that way you can figure out who parks where in your area.
– Any garbage from food/items that is brought onto the premises is to be placed in the trash. We want to keep this clean!
– As expected, we want everybody to be on their best behavior. Burnouts, revving and any uncalled for behavior will get you kicked out. It’s a show, not a track.
– Those registered for the show – please stay until the end of the draw. Afterwards, everyone can roll out.
